IACT Committee Mission StatementsConference Site and ProgramChair Samera Zavaro, Vice Chair Laura Bailey, Vice Chair Dr. Becky Wagner - The mission of the Conference Site and Program Committee is to develop a meeting program including workshops, seminars, and presentations that facilitate the discussion and exchange of information in alcohol and other drugs testing related to traffic and workplace testing advancing the purpose of IACT in a fiscally sound manner. EthicsChair Laura Bailey – The Ethics Committee serves as an investigative body when necessary to ensure members follow the IACT Code of Ethics and Conduct. Legal ResearchChair Kiran Chopra, Vice Chair Dr. Robert Lockwood - The mission of the Legal Research Committee is to review new and pending legislation and recent court rulings related to testing for alcohol and other drugs in suspected impaired drivers and to relay information on those issues to the membership. ManufacturersInterim Chair Jeremy Johnston - The committee shall represent IACT as a liaison to manufacturers and vendors of alcohol/drug testing instruments, equipment and related services. The committee will assist with setup and any needs the manufacturers/vendors might have during conferences; and shall keep IACT informed of recent developments in the field. The committee shall strive to include new manufacturers/vendors. MembershipChair Kevin Roberts - The mission of the Membership Committee is to determine eligibility and classification of applicants for membership in the Association. NominatingChair Randall Beaty - The mission of the Nominating Committee is to identify qualified nominees for the elected positions of the Association. PublicationsChair Tasha Israel - The committee shall be responsible for publication of the IACT Newsletter. These duties shall include writing, soliciting content, editing, publishing, and distributing the Newsletter to the membership. TrainingInterim Chair Dr. Curt Harper, Vice Chair Dr. Jonna Berry, Vice Chair Dr. Justin Grodnitzky - The mission of the Training Committee is to develop and promote training opportunities for personnel in the field of chemical testing; and to develop recommended training standards for agencies devoted to the detection of alcohol and other drugs.
